A Southern Chic Themed  Session Session

I got to photograph Kaitlin and her brother for christmas as a gift for her parents and later we did another  family session for the entire family. So once Kaitlin started planning her wedding I was thrilled when she asked me to shoot her engagement session!

Their Story:

Kaitlin met Patrick eight years ago at a rodeo.  After a number exchange with the cute cowboy next to her and a date to see Fast and Furious they were headed full speed down the highway of love.  Their wedding will take place at Twisted Ranch in Bertram, TX.  This venue has hay barrels, barns, wagons, and even a jail house and general store! Which fits their southern chic styled wedding perfectly. We has so much fun there I ended up hosting one of my children’s birthday party at the nearby playscape.

The Engagement Session:

Since this couple loves to spend their free time listening to Texas country music, floating the river, hanging with their wiener dogs, hunting and of course TEXAS FOOTBALL!! They wanted their engagement session to reflect their style.  Since floating the river (another favorite activity of theirs) would be kinda awkward with a camera, we chose an outdoor location.  Having visited Buda’s Stagecoach Park I knew the  huge hay barrels and windmills would fit right along with their southern chic styled theme.
